Amazingly good entry-level rum.
Le goût est d'abord doux et sucré, puis s'enrichit lentement d'une plénitude complexe avec des nuances de chêne américain et de tabac à pipe sucré. L'arrière-goût est long et combine parfaitement la riche saveur du rhum avec la douceur directe.
A subtle nose. Vanilla, creme brulee and oak. Nothing exciting. The palate is a different story. Marshmallows covered in honey hit first followed by dried fruits and tobacco. The finish leads with dark chocolate and a spicy, peppery note. Overall, it's interesting. Sweet, the marshmallows on the palate is pretty crazy. But I couldn't see many making the their usual drink. Too sickly.
Super sweet Spanish style rum. It is really solid in the profile of rather sweet, Spanish style, blended rum. Vanilla, fudge, caramel, coffee, tobacco. 20g/litre added sugar Ex bourbon, mollasses based, straight aged(not solera) It’s the first time I had a chance to try it.
