The "Bar Tre" was produced in Jamaica at the Clarendon distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Thompson Bros.. It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 12 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 57%. Vers Clarendon
Très astringent, mais profil typique de jeune Clarendon.
Nose : far from the glass it's fruity, reminds me black forest cake but as soon as you get closer the solvant/glue immediately strikes you. It's not my first Acquaintance with Clarendon but it's hard to get over this massive glue/latex flavour. Mouth : alcohol is present, glue/patex in line with the nose, it makes you salivate a lot 🤤 there's a lot going on, sweet, vanilla, a touch of wood, floral.
