Cadenhead‘s Uitvlugt MPM
The "MPM" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Cadenhead‘s. It was distilled in 1993 from Molasses and then aged for 25 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 51,2% and the mark is MPM. This is a limited release and there are only 216 bottles. 7 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.8/10. The rum smells like Raisin, Butterscotch and Milk chocolate, and on the palate there is Mushrooms, Peat and Oak.

"30.05.2020 J'ai passé un bon après-midi avec des amis et des amis d'amis, y compris quelques bonnes bouteilles de rhum. Notes Couleur moyennement foncée. Nez Bois léger, torréfaction, herbes, chocolat léger, atelier. Bouche Huileux, douceur naturelle, bois, torréfaction légère, équilibré, chocolat léger, fruits secs. Finale Moyenne à longue, bois, gâteau aux fruits, herbes légères."
"We move away from the typical PM with the DNA of wet wood. Here it is more delicate and charming. greedy nose on exotic fruits with notes of vanilla and pepper. We find the smoked-toasted-woody of the PM but less omnipresent than usual. It is fresh. In mouth it is warm and fat! We are on peppery notes, slightly iodized-smoked. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. Nice metallic notes are present. The molasses persists and rounds the whole. Nice long sweet finish that leaves a real pleasure in the mouth. Very beautiful rum of tasting, a warm attack."
