SMWS DDL R2.9 Demerara deliciousness
The "R2.9 Demerara deliciousness" was produced in Guyana at the Demerara Distillers Ltd distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. It was distilled in 2008 from Molasses and then aged for 11 years. The rum has an ABV of 62%. This is a limited release and there are only 235 bottles. 3 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.8/10. The rum smells like Woody, Leather and Anise, and on the palate there is Woody, Roasted and Minty.

#4531 20.12.2023 Swapped myself to some nice SMWS samples and I'm definitely going to get my hands on some more. Pretty nice and medium fruity rum with light roasted wood notes. The palate is intense, warm, oily and fresh with nice mint and coconut. The finish is medium to long and warm with some mint. The empty glass has some raisin and pineapple.
