CDI Guyana Madeira Finish
The "Guyana Madeira Finish" was produced in Guyana. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses with a Pot and Column Still and then aged for 12 years. The rum has an ABV of 42%. This is a limited release and there are only 432 bottles. 5 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.2/10. The rum smells like Cream Toffee, Brown sugar and Prunes, and on the palate there is Hay, Dried fruit and Lime.

"The Madeira finish is well integrated. Unfortunately, a bit too diluted for my taste."
"Tried this because it's madeira finish, but as I'm accustomed to high proof rum this one was mostly a tease. No taste was especially clear I think. Light leathery citrus caramel with a dash of water. A little bit of grassy notes mingles with the leather. Not any peculiar finish."
