The "Cotopaxi Rum" was produced in Ecuador at the Cotopaxi distillery. It was distilled from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 14 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 60%. 11 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.8/10. , and on the palate there is Coconut, Molasses and Smoky.

Compared to the non-cask strength, this one has a little more to offer. Both on the nose and especially in the mouth with a great, strong attack, followed by a pleasant creaminess. Little wood, rather spicy and above all vanilla-like, slightly bitter (but less so than the drinking strength version). Longer finish and above all not watery compared to its weaker brother.
