The "Pure Demerara Rum" was produced in Guyana at the Enmore distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Silver Seal. It was distilled in 1975 from Molasses and then aged for 32 years. The rum has an ABV of 65%. 16.03.2013 Back at this wonderful hotel that I have passed at least a thousand times on my bike during training passes. This one should be the 1975 32 year release because that release has 65% ABV with 3 parrots on the box according to my notes. I have asked for a change of the rum. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, roasted, plum, light citrus, herbs, anise. Palate Intense, warm, wood, roasted, light licorice, plum, raisin, faint leather. Finish Very long and warm, wood, roasted, faint smoke, light licorice, raisin.
