The "La Maison du Rhum #2" was produced in Reunion at the Rivière du Mât distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Dugas. It was distilled in 2010 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 8 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. 4 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.7/10. The rum smells like Banana, Round and Barrel, and on the palate there is Round, Coffee and Vanilla.

Smell promises a lot, i get bananas, some chocolate, hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Unfortunatly taste do not follow the smell, extremly dry and quite week. Finish is medium and dry. Overall a bit dissapointing and i dont see it worth the price. Maybe whisky fans will enjoy. Worth adding there is zero alcoholic burn.
