The "Plantation Belize XO Single Cask" was produced in Belize. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Maison Ferrand. It was distilled from Molasses and then aged for 9 years. The rum has an ABV of 49,4%. 16 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.4/10. The rum smells like Roasted, Nutty and Grapes, and on the palate there is Sweet, Caramel and Spicy.

Quite a muted and sweet thing, that Plantation offered there. Will have a second go at a later time. The second go is not really better, it tastes like a Spanish style rum with a bit of Cognac, which it is.
This canidate from Belize finished in last place of my Belize tasting. I would recommend it to some new guys in the rum world, due the easy access of various notes, also the alcohol remains in the background (due diluation). The fealing in mouth is rather light and elegant. Also the finish is quite short and inexpressive
