The "Pot Stilled High Ester Rum" was produced in South Africa at the MHOBA distillery. It was distilled in 2019 from Sugar cane juice with a Pot Still. The rum has an ABV of 66,5%. This is a limited release and there are only 98 bottles. 16 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.4/10. The rum smells like Sugarcane, Ester and Nail polish, and on the palate there is Overripe, Strong and Sugarcane.

Ein extrem ausgeprägter Geruch nach Ester, Nagellackentferner und Butterkeks kommen einem entgegen. Eine wirklich großartige Nase. Im Geschmack dann erstaunlich süß. Viel Zuckerrohr, Honig, Kirsche und Keks dominieren den angenehm kräftigen Geschmack. Honig und Kirsche bleiben langanhaltend und warm im Abgang. Ein Rum, den ich sehr interessant und ausgesprochen weich und intensiv zugleich finde. Gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut.
Aroma:Smells like esters even from a distance. However, these ester aromas are unlike anything I've tasted from Jamaica or La Reunion.
