Just finished a nice evening going through some of the samples we got from 1423. Wow, this one is dry, very dry. I had to add a drop of water to release all the flavours and reduce the dry part a bit.
Original impressions from 2017 rum calendar. Nose: * Taste: ** Overall: * ”För stark.” High ABV at 68.6% which you can feel on the nose and palate. Really strong burn with leathery and woody notes and a dry finish. Nose has some tropical fruits but I find it hard to find them on the palate. I guess you can add some water but I like to taste it straight from the bottle.
