CDI Sancti Spiritus Cuba
The "Cuba" was produced in Cuba at the Sancti Spiritus distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 1998 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 16 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. This is a limited release and there are only 253 bottles. 9 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.9/10. The rum smells like Apricot, Peat and Floral, and on the palate there is Peat, Citrus and Candied.

Can only agree with one of the other reviewers, I have exactly the same association: a light rum with fruity notes and a pleasantly long finish.
Vorweg: Wir sind keine Freunde fürs Leben geworden: Ganz angenehme Frische mit Aprikosen und einer leichten Süsse in der Nase. Geschmacklich rund, ohne Fehlnoten, mittelmäßig eingebundener Alkohol. Dazu eine sehr präsente torfige Note die auch den Abgang bestimmt. Handwerklich sicher ordentlich, für Cuba sicher nicht schlecht, hat aber nicht mein Herz getroffen, ein Sample reicht vollends…
