I tried a few releases from Aldea and this one I like a lot, maybe because if the ABV. A fuller rum in the flavour profile than the regular releases from Aldea. I'd say that the fruits and caramel are light on the profile, but that's not a bad thing. I do like that you get wood and leather on the palate and that the Port cask finish is also present without being dominant. The price to quality is pretty OK.
