The "Folklore Series #15: Ethereal" was produced in Madeira at the O Reizinho distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Raising Glasses. It was distilled in 2021 from Sugar cane juice with a Pot Still and then aged for 3 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 60,4%. This is a limited release and there are only 580 bottles. 2 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.8/10. The rum smells like Fruity, Marmalade and Orange peel, and on the palate there is Chocolate, Sour cherry and Fruity.

Wow! First impression…rum dry curaçao!!! Slight medicinal finish, spicy and woody like some of my favorite Alambique Serrano’s. Nice, soft mouth feel. The finish lingers. So great!!!
My first Madeira was an O Reizinho from TBRC and I loved the dominant note that reminded me of opening a can of tennis balls. This hit exactly that profile I was hoping for and has notes of almond, marmalade, and chocolate.
