The "Single Barrel Jamaican Rum <>H" was produced in Jamaica at the Hampden distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Bedford Park. It was distilled in 2014 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 10 years 8mo. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 66,8% and the mark is <>H. "This is a classic Hampden at a strong 66.8% - <>H is very clear here and it’s a solid representation of the mark. The ex-rum cask flavours aren’t as strong so you don’t get an overpowering of any cask flavours - rather it’s more muted on the wood influence and the spirit shines through a bit more. Another great price point that leaves this one open for discussion. You want to compare this against other releases in the same age range as a great standard for what to expect from the distillery and this mark."
