"Tasted at SITS’24 Classic Beenleigh profile on the nose with applecake, sugared peanuts and fresh dough. As is tradition from this IB: heavy cask influence with primarily charred wood and balsamic, seawind and hints of phenol. In the mouth even more concentrated on wood and cask spice. Opens sweet with cinnamon-apple crumble, nougat, hot coffee and buttered toast. Then less accessible with blackened wood, hints of plastic and an overdose of balsamic. The finish is quite short, uneventful, sugary and dry."
