The "Père Labat Très Vieux Rhum Agricole" was produced in Marie Galante at the Poisson distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Rock & Rhum. It was distilled in 2016 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 8 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. This is a limited release and there are only 378 bottles. 10 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.4/10. The rum smells like Vegetal, Rhubarb and Fruity, and on the palate there is Tropical fruit, Vegetal and Floral.

Good Agricole. On the one hand a classic Agricole. Beautifully herbal, good integration of alcohol on the one hand and flavors on the other. There is also a lot to discover. For example, tropical fruit, slightly dirty in places, but also fresh, grassy notes. Delicious.
Rhumtour 2025 Very strong nose. Even smells like poisson. I forgot for a second this is 45% but then you taste and immediately you get the dilution. Very earthy flavours. Not bad but I guess Martinique is still King in this domain?
