The "Guyana Rum (Laphroaig Cask Matured)" was produced in Guyana at the Diamond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Mybar. It was distilled in 2021 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 3 years 4mo. The rum has an ABV of 61%. This is a limited release and there are only 20 bottles. 3 community members rated this rum with an average of 6.9/10. The rum smells like Sweet, Whisky, and on the palate there is Whisky, Peat and Thin.

Beim einschenken ins glas riecht man nur whisky, der aber recht schnell verfliegt. Da bestand noch Hoffnung 😅 Beim Geschmack kommt dann aber wieder volle breitseite der Whisky durch, mit viel honigsüße. Im Abgang das selbe und auch sehr alkoholisch. Gar nicht mein Fall. Den rest eventuell als whisky/cola
Leider mag ich Whisky Finishes nicht besonderes. Dieses Laphroaig Finish lässt den Grundstoff nicht mehr erkennen. Komplett überbordend.
OMG - it has nothing to do with rum. But it is nice Laphroaig. And I love Laphroaig :) Ok, maybe it has little bit sweetnes of rum
