Romdeluxe DDL Limited Batch Series Port Mourant
The "Limited Batch Series Port Mourant" was produced in Guyana at the Demerara Distillers Ltd distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Romdeluxe. It was distilled in 2010 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 14 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 57,7%. This is a limited release and there are only 98 bottles. 3 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.8/10. #4756 22.06.2024 Nice tasting afternoon and evening with Hannes at the shop in Odense. Nose Fresh, light wood, mint, plum, light medicinal, faint grass, spice. Palate Oily, fresh, balanced, anise, light wood, faint roasted, plum, iodine, light grass, faint leather. Finish Medium to long, wood, light leather, prunes, anise, faint herbal.
Good, typical port mourant notes. Pencil shavings, liquorice and heather. Not a standout but definitely value for money.
