Rum4u DDL Guyana Skeldon 2023 SWR
The "Guyana Skeldon 2023 SWR" was produced in Guyana at the Demerara Distillers Ltd distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Rum4u. It was distilled from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 1 years 9mo. The rum has an ABV of 64,8% and the mark is SWR. This is a limited release and there are only 70 bottles. 11 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.3/10. The rum smells like Burnt sugar, Barrel and Oak, and on the palate there is Roasted, Dried fruit and Oak.

Un beau chocolat et surtout de la vanille provenant d'un fût de chêne frais. Peut-être un peu jeune. Alcool bien intégré, mais on sent déjà nettement le goût de la Column.
A lot of oak and barrel both in the nose and mouth. ABV well integrated so I did not mind the 64 %! A lot of rum in this glass, I like it ;-)
Yes, the Skeldon Demerara Guyana taste is there for the very first taste. But then come the sharp, wild and alcohol bite. IMHO - it should stay in cask for few more months/years to make it calm and mild.
