The "Australian Rum" was produced in Australia at the Beenleigh distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Silver Seal. It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses and then aged for 15 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 65,2%. 13 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.2/10. The rum smells like Roasted, Barrel and Medicinal, and on the palate there is Woody, Roasted and Fruity.

A smoky note on the nose, then unconfirmed on the palate, alcohol initially seems to push too hard but it's 65 degrees and that's understandable, it continues with a nice roundness and alcohol that goes in. Slight herbaceous note, but lots of nice flavors in the mouth...promoted 🤙🏻
I already have quite a bit of experience with strong rums, but I was bit taken aback by the first taste. Medinal notes didn't show up in the taste for me, finish is very long. Rum is interesting, but there's nothing "memorable" about it for me.
