 8,4:On the nose, the first impression is medicinal with nails polish, quickly turns into roasted and toasted notes with burnt sugar, gourmand butterscotch, dried fruits and woodiness, all other Bajan attributes as coconut, nutmeg, a pinch of cinammon and inevitable dryness, that ends with bourbon yellow fruits. Aeration brings out chocolate, pastries, caramelized nuts and later on tobacco, mocha and a bit weaker tropical fruits as banana and passion fruit. 8,5 :On the palate, nice bourbon notes hit our tasting buds with yellow fruits, the rum is dry, as we taste dried fruits, spicy with baking spices, underneath more and more menthol is felt. We quickly feel toasted wood and roastedness with caramelized roasted nuts, milk chocolate, some metallic note is present. As we go along, butterscotch and pastries show up again, dried dates, burnt sugar, nutmeg and sweet spices that lead us into the finish. 8,3:The finish is warm, long with sweet spices, the wood is toasted with honey, dried fruits linger, dryness, some other notes as tobacco and roastedness stay...

 Klassisches Foursquare Profil an Nase und Gaumen, ohne Schnörkel. Vanille, Kokos, etwas Toffee, alles da. Sehr leckerer Sipper, keine Überraschungen. Kann man zugreifen.

 Tja. Was soll ich sagen? Für Foursquare relativ eindimensional und fast nichtssagend. Ein paar typische Anklänge sind durchaus vorhanden, der Alkohol ist recht angenehm eingebunden aber mehr kommt irgendwie nicht rüber. Warm, mild sympathisch - mehr nicht, easy Sipper

N: Whaft of paintstripper, dusty, burned caramel, cedar wood, dunnage warehouse, some light salty soy sauce, thai green curry, something floral in the background, oily tinned sardines, dry with a lot of depth on the nose, there is still some yeasty funkyness in there as well that I cant quite put my finger on. The nose is whispering and a bit more restraint.  Mon style de rhum préféré ! Tout en rondeur et en finesse. 60% extrêmement bien intégré. Solvant très délicat (presque sucré) et gâteau de fruits mûrs avec du miel à sentir. Puis vient la douceur et la chaleur du nid d'abeille. Enfin, la finale est longue avec du bois de cèdre, des graines de fruits à noyaux, de la confiture de prunes sombres et de la jodine. Mon choix))
