The "R9.2 Paddington bear's first sip" was produced in Panama at the Varela Hermanos distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. It was distilled in 2004 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 12 years. The rum has an ABV of 62%. The rum smells like Chocolate, Vanilla and Oak, and on the palate there is Marshmallow, Woody and Syrupy.

Surprisingly smocky and whisky-esk on the nose. Sweet, chocolatey on the palate. Nice representation of Panama rums but nothing outstanding - as you would expexct.
