The "Vinothek Edition" was produced in Canary Islands at the Ron Aldea distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Vinothek St. Stephan. It was distilled in 1997 from Sugar cane juice and then aged for 18 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 61,9%. 3 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.9/10. Tasted directly in the vinotheque in Vienna. Very inviting nose - chocolatey, spicy and pastry. Slight alcoholic spiciness on the nose. Really nice and creamy and intense on the palate. Very sweet (honey), but not unpleasant. Wow, so intense and complex can taste a "Spanish" rum. Instead of molasses, fresh sugar cane juice was distilled here. Made really fun. 😊🥃
Gesüßt, aber erstaunlich gut und rund. Auf Agricole wäre ich nicht gekommen.
Sehr rund und süffig. Viel Honigsüsse, der Alkohol ist exzellent integriert. Mir fehlt ein Gegenpol zu der opulenten Süsse, davon abgesehen ein ausgesprochen gefälliges Profil.
