It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 15 years. Tried this just after finishing a pour of the Velier STCE 2007 and it has much of the same profile — absolutely love it. Not sure I’m up to differentiating the two without tasting them together.
A fine rum with a nose of very ripe bananas. The palate follows with a lot of greed!
