SMWS Worthy Park R11.10 Whole, uncut and unbruised
The "R11.10 Whole, uncut and unbruised" was produced in Jamaica at the Worthy Park distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. It was distilled in 2011 from Molasses and then aged for 9 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 65,60%. This is a limited release and there are only 264 bottles. 7 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.6/10. The rum smells like Cookie dough, Solvents and Tropical fruit, and on the palate there is Pineapple, Cookie dough and Ester.

12.11.2022 Going through samples at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, faint roasted, fruits, apple, light berries, light chocolate, faint coffee. Palate Oily, balanced, light wood, light ginger, fruits, pineapple, faint chocolate, light tea, medium dry, medium spicy. Finish Medium long, light wood, light herbs, fruits, light pineapple, light ginger, spice, light grass.
Schöner Worthy Park vielen fruchtigen Noten. Der Rum benötigt allerdings sehr viel Standzeit um sich zu öffnen und um den Alkohol sich verflüchtigen zu lassen. Die Geduld wird dann allerdings auch belohnt. Aber an die tropisch gereiften Habitation Velier kommt er leider nicht ran.
10/09/23: tasted @ Spiritsfestival Kempenland Geel. Good Worthy Park release from SMWS. They really know what they are doing. Nevertheless, not among the best Worthy Parks I have ever tasted. Maybe lacks some tropical ageing.
