The "Flying Dutchman Rum" was produced in Netherlands at the Zuidam distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler That Boutique-Y Rum Company. It was distilled from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 4 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 53%. This is a limited release and there are only 223 bottles. 5 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.8/10. The rum smells like Brown sugar, Cinnamon and Cardamom, and on the palate there is Copper, Baking spices and Grappa.

"My first Dutch rum - it’s an interesting rum. Don’t really get the typical pot still notes but it has layers. Brown sugar on the nose, with some cinnamon and spices. The mouth is a bit less refined and lack integration. Copper and metallic notes with an alcoholic twang similar to schnapps or grappa. The finish is a bit limited and an almost salty and menthol note. It’s hard to place an not entirely to my tastes but better than many"
