#4779 17.07.2024 Relaxing with some unaged samples. Nose Intense, fruity, light citrus, light floral, berries, esters. Palate Intense, fruity, spicy, medium dry, light oily, light citrus, faint dried fruit, ester. Finish Very long and warm, fruity, medium dry, faint apricot, ester. The empty glass has light pineapple, varnish and faint honey.
This rum have a great nose and a nice finish, the weak spot is the palate, not consistent. On the nose, tropical and red fruits dominate the profile along with esters, with some floral hints that complete the profile. While drinking, the alcool bite is important, and the profile is still ester-y but less fruity than expected, a bit underwhelming. The finish is long and pleasant driven by esters
Nettement alcoolisé et astringent ! Relativement beaucoup d'olive couplée à des esters forts et des fruits jaunes.
