The "Trinidad Rum" was produced in Trinidad at the Fernandes distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Liquid Art. It was distilled in 1999 from Molasses and then aged for 20 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 52,7%. Nose: burnt wood, vanilla sweetness, banana, coffee beans and tropical fruitFeel: plenty of oak establishes a core through which pungent molasses, spice and brown sugar emergeFinish: salted caramel and slightly bitter herbs provide reasonable lengthThe label design was entrusted to Pieter Debruyne, who honored legendary jazz trumpeter Chet Baker Nice selection to launch at TDL.
