The "Single Cask Rum" was produced in Panama at the Don Jose distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Duncan Taylor. It was distilled in 1995 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 17 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 54,4%. 2 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.9/10. The rum smells like Dry, Woody and Sweet, and on the palate there is Caramel, Woody and Dry.

Duncan Taylor saved this particular flight of Panama Rums! Really classic flavour profile that is not overly sweet or too bitter. Very nice integration and probably about the highest this particular Rum Style can go for me. Super impressive stuff!
Not bad, but I think it could do with a few more years in the barrel.
