The "Limited Edition Barbados (Fass R)" was produced in Barbados at the Foursquare distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Vinothek St. Stephan. It was distilled in 2010 from Molasses and then aged for 11 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 55,9%. The rum smells like Coconut, Vanilla and Hot, and on the palate there is Bite, Hot and Warm.

Joli Foursquare, mais personnellement un peu trop mordant pour moi.
Vinothek St.Stephan is a wine and spirit merchant from Vienna, Austria. Every year they release a single cask whiskys and rums. This one is a small batch (3 casks, 1st fill bourbon), cask strength 11yo (9years tropical and 2 years continental ageing) Foursquare rum with the price point of roundabout 100€. For my liking it‘s a bit too hot (for 55,9ABV) and too spicy, maybe because of 1st fill casks, nevertheless it‘s a good Bajan rum. The label contains transparent information about ageing and used casks.
