The "Heffron Panama Premium Rum 10YO" was produced in Panama at the Palirna U Zeleneho stromu distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Palírna U Zeleného Stromu. It was distilled from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum has an ABV of 40%. 23 community members rated this rum with an average of 6.9/10. The rum smells like Vanilla, Woody and Caramel, and on the palate there is Sweet, Woody and Vanilla.

Der letzte Rum für heute. Wirklich gar nicht mal schlecht schön fruchtig aber auch leichte Note von Schokolade und Karamell zu erkennen. Von daher der palirna rum zu empfehlen kann man gut trinken. Schönen Abend
The alcoholic whiff is back again although only on the nose, otherwise it is very similar to 5YO but heavier on the 👅. All flavours intensified. Dark chocolate, roasted or burned sugar, vanilla and coffee. Just a tad bit better than 5 YO. The original one is not worth a try, just go for 5/10YO. Very good rums although sweetened. But this one along with 5YO offers depth.
Excellent cost/quality ratio. For 12 EUR/0,5l (promotion) you get a good tasting rum. Directly compared to higher level rum this one is slightly plain, but for the casual drinking serves well.
