The "Dictador Best of" was produced in Colombia at the Destilería Colombiana distillery. It was distilled in 1983 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 32 years. The rum has an ABV of 43,4%. "15.10.2021 A nice evening with good friends at a local tasting. Notes Darn in colour. Nose Light, wood, light roasted, sweet, fruits, orange, light caramel, light nutts. Palate Sweet, light wood, faint smoke, light nutts, caramel, orange, oily, faint chocolate, dried fruit. Finish Medium long, oily, sweet, wood, light roasted, orange, dried fruit, light caramel."
"I'm really happy that i own multiple bottles of these 'Best Of' series. This one is going in the same direction as the XO Insolent but a bit less sweet. Still nice flavors of coffee, chocolate, nuts and caramel. The slightly higher abv is also a good thing imo."
