On the palate, the Bourbon cask comes through more clearly. Chocolate and cocoa. Plus more roasted notes. This rum is a bit wilder here. More than 58% ABV would have disturbed the alcohol integration. As it is, everything fits. I like it a lot, but it doesn’t really stand out.
